The November HoPIN event will be delivered in conjunction with the Bewick Society. Speakers include:

Dr. Peter Quinn: Hearth and Home, Bewick and Cherryburn.' Cherryburn was Bewick's birthplace. Today it is a museum devoted to the life and work of the engraver. Inspired by this year's presentation at Cherryburn of paintings by the contemporary artist George Shaw, this paper will engage with the meaning of home in the art and writings of Thomas Bewick (1753-1828). Peter is Chair of the Bewick Society.

Dr Graham Rowe: 'Some of Bewick's Sources for His Animal and Bird Engravings.' Graham is Senior Lecturer in Biology and programme leader for Conservation and Biology, University of Derby.
