ADMInistrator and Researcher
Julia studied music and art history at undergraduate level and for many years worked as an arts administrator - at the Wigmore Hall and Early Music Network - and subsequently in grant-giving and fundraising. More recently she has worked in the higher education sector at Dartington College of Arts, Birmingham City University and Plymouth College of Art. She returned to Birmingham in 2014 and is currently working as a freelance copy-editor and proof-reader. Julia is a founder member of the Baskervillle Society and is also undertaking some research in an amateur capacity for the wider Baskerville project, tracing former and current owners of Baskerville’s large lectern bibles printed in 1763. She has just joined the Print Networks Committee and is also researching resources for the CPHC, archives and libraries, people and places.
