Market Harborough Museum


The Museum holds some material relating to the Caxton Type Foundry, established in Market Harborough in 1898 and supplying type for (and as part of the business of) John Haddon & Co, printers in London. 

Items include: a catalogue of Haddon-Caxton Type Faces and a wooden type tray containing Haddon-Caxton type, together with several company letterheads.

There are a few other catalogues and papers relating to indentures held in store.
