Shakespeare Birthplace Trust
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust owns five properties relating to William Shakespeare: Shakespeare’s Birthplace; Shakespeare’s New Place Estate; Ann Hathaway’s Cottage; Mary Arden House; andHall’s Croft; together with the world’s largest collection of Shakespeare material available to the public.
The Library Collection comprises printed materials and books relating to Shakespeare’s works, life and times, including three First Folios and a range of important early printed books, as well as translations of the plays into over 80 languages.
The Local History Archive Collection includes material relating to Stratford-upon-Avon and South Warwickshire dating back to the 12th century and a number of hand-written documents referring to Shakespeare from his own lifetime.

The Trust also holds and manages the archive of the Royal Shakespeare Company and a Museum Collection of over 11,000 objects.
