The Centre for Printing History & Culture is hosting an online seminar with Dr Kristin Bluemel from Monmouth University, New Jersey. Kristin has very recently published Enchanted Wood: Engraving a Place for Women Artists in Rural Britain (University of Minnesota Press, Dec 2025). 

Kristin has kindly offered to speak with our PGR research group and anyone else who is interest about the journey to getting her book published and how she has navigated a career in the world of academia.

The session will be an open discussion; so we will have the opportunity to share our different research interests and ask any questions about working in academia or getting published. Of course, we will also have the chance to hear about Kristin's research and book.
