Teresa Jones
Supervisors: Dr Malcolm Dick
Teresa Jones is a part time PhD student with the University of Birmingham where she is currently researching aspects of printing and print culture and its influence on the city of Worcester in the eighteenth and early nineteenth century. She has a first degree in history and an MA, in the themes of local history, from the Open University. Teresa is also a Senior Archive Assistant with Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service, based at The Hive in Worcester, where she helps to deliver their service to the public and assists customers with their research enquiries. She also loves being able to undertake research and helps to contribute to the service’s popular blog and social media pages, often anonymously. She is finding it particularly rewarding, although sometimes a little daunting, to begin to have the opportunity to write articles and give papers based on her own research.
