Andie Lloyd is an M4C doctoral researcher in the Centre for Printing History & Culture. My research applies a forensic focus to a very narrow slice of the newspaper trade of a provincial town, to discover more about the print culture and mechanics of radical newspaper printing in Birmingham. By doing so it will answer questions about how they were printed and financed, the networks that enabled their creation and distribution, the significance of place and space and the importance of the local radical press.
