Print Networks organises an annual conference on themes relevant to the history of the book trade in the English-speaking world outside London. The 2018 conference will take place on 12 July at Gladstone’s Library in Hawarden, Wales on ‘Printing for Business’.
Print Networks also oversees the British Book Trade Index (BBTI) which is hosted by the Bodleian Library, Oxford. The BBTI is an index of the names and brief biographical details and trade details of people who worked in the book trade in England and Wales and who were trading by 1851. (There is a separate index for Scotland hosted by the National Library of Scotland).) The BBTI includes a hugely useful bibliography relating to the English Provincial book trade.
