The Printing Historical Society is hosting a day of talks and discussion on printing history and heritage, in connection with the exhibition at Senate House Library, The English Print Revolution: Caxton and Beyond.

A one-day event consisting of panel discussions and presentations on various aspects of printing history and heritage in the twenty-first century.

Artists, conservators, printers, librarians and historians bring discoveries and contemporary perspectives to the Senate House Library exhibition, 'The English Print Revolution: Caxton and Beyond.' Featuring talks from Becca Drake, Senate House Printer in Residence on contemporary responses to Caxton; Andrew Honey, conservator, on finding printing heritage; panels on new methods and approaches to discovering the history of printing, and on bibliographic presses, print-labs and MakerSpaces.
The day will both in-person, at Senate House Library, and online via Zoom. For online attendees, a link will be sent prior to the day.
Optional tours of the exhibition The English print Revolution: Caxton and Beyond, and the Senate House MakerSpace will run throughout the day. Lunch and refreshments provided.
